My third book in the series about Sharon, a forty something woman from Stockport, is out now on the Amazon Kindle store!!!!! It's priced at £1.80 and is called House of Sunshine.
It follows Sharon in America a few months after Christmas at the end of the second book, Good Men and Mavericks. After a few weeks on Grand Cayman they are in a Winnebago, broken down in a trailer park near Chicago. The trip takes a surprising turn. Tom, ever resourceful, comes up with a plan that at first seems great but soon everything changes and Sharon has to make a decision about what she wants.
I've had great fun writing it and I hope you enjoy reading it. If you do tell everyone, enough downloads and I will be able to write more.
Having a gap year in my mid fifties to see if I have what it takes to be a writer. Watch this space!

Book 3
It's been quite a while since I wrote on here but I've not dropped off the face of the earth, although sometimes I could do with somewhere just as quiet! No, I've been wrestling with the third episode in the Adventures of Sharon. I suppose that will make it a trilogy but I hesitate to use that word for my collection of stories. It seems a little ambitious to call mine that as the success of a certain erotic trilogy takes over the book world. I think there's hardly anywhere that hasn't heard of the books now. Not that I'm jealous of her massive success, no, it encourages me to think that something that would probably have been criticised by a writing tutor for all kinds of stuff has proved that you can make lots of money without being a literary masterpiece.
So, back to book 3. I'm nearly finished and am wrestling with the ending, which is why I'm on here blogging instead of getting down to work! It seems to have been a bit more intense to write it, although I have tried to include lots of humorous notes into it so that it is still a happy book to read. This time round Sharon is in America although her trip doesn't go according to plan. Surprising that, isn't it? (If you've read the first two you'll know why I say that!) I don't want to tell too much of the story but the last one ended as she was certain about Tom and they were happily together. I wanted her to have a happy ending after the doubt of book 1 but it still left some unfinished business and I hope this third book answers those questions.
It should be out by the beginning of September. At least, that's what I'm aiming for. It will be on Amazon first as an ebook and I will make an announcement on my website. I hope you'll like it.
And now, no more procrastinating, I must return to wrestling with my last two chapters to make sure there is a book to read.
Happy reading meanwhile!
